Jack, Anna, and Catherine are all recognized as among the top Administrative Law practitioners in N.C. with a combined 60+ years of experience. Together, we have represented clients in over 100 hearings before the N.C. Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH) in a variety of matters including occupational and professional licensing, child care and daycare licensure, state employment, and other matters. In addition to appearing before Administrative Law Judges at OAH, we represent clients before other agencies, such as the Cabinet and Council of State departments, the N.C. Utilities Commission, the N.C. State Ethics Commission, the N.C. Banking Commission, the N.C. Industrial Commission, and the N.C. Rules Review Commission. The types of matters we handle include tort claims, licensure, civil penalty disputes, procurement disputes, and rulemaking. Additionally, we represent clients in judicial review and appeals of administrative decisions to North Carolina trial and appellate courts. Administrative Law is what Nichols, Choi & Lee does every day, every month, and throughout the year.
